Being part of the team I think, was so much more effective. If alone, I would only have given a street dog some food for few days, not knowing what else to do in a strange town when seeing a sick dog. Joining with the other volunteers at CfD, I was part of a steady approach. You give dogs some hope for a better life and don’t have to disappoint them when they might wait on you, when your plane already took off. Here is a team and it’s just another friendly face, the next (holiday) volunteer will take up your work. After volunteering at the shelter, I would like to stay part of the team. Hopefully helping to maintain this site, I can help a little, drawing attention to the wonderful work here at Care for Dogs. |

I am just crazy about dogs and being a volunteer is something I have to do although it will never be enough since there are so many neglected dogs but it needs to be done and one needs to start somewhere. |

I am very grateful for CFD because they have been helping dogs and cats around Chiangmai, as many as they come across. Looking after hundreds dogs and cats is not an easy task. So for me to be part of an organization which relies on unconditional love is wonderful. My eyes have been opened up a lot more. Not only the dogs’ world will change but your world will change too. |

My dogs do not only change my life, but also change the way I feel of other dogs (and cats). It is painful to see or hear that there are dogs hit by car or dumped. Worst of all, it happens every single day in Chiang Mai. |

I’m a graduate student in a university in US. Actually, I’ve been sent to pursuit a degree in computer sciences; however, it seems like I will got one in culinary art instead. Deeply, I hope that I can go home one day so I can spent time with all the cute dogs / cats in CfD!! |
